If I could have a lifetime wish A dream that could come true I'd pray to God with all my heart For yesterday and you A thousand words can't bring you back I know because I've tried And neither will a million tears I know because I've cried You left behind my broken heart And happy memories too I never wanted memories I only wanted you A million times I've needed you A million times I've cried If love alone could've saved you You never would have died In life I loved you deeply In death I love you still In my heart you hold a place No one else will ever fill It broke my heart to lost you But you did not go alone Part of me went with you The day God took you home Author Unknown |

We Hear Each Tear Fall From Her Face Our mom doesn't know we're watching her But we're watching her just the same And we hear each tear fall from her face At the very mention of our names She says it sounds like music to her ears And can be heard over a crowd Oh, we hear each tear fall from her face When our names are said aloud We watch her stumble through each day As she wishes the day would end And we hear each tear fall from her face As she talks of us to her friends But there are few that truly understand Oh, this we've heard her proclaim And we hear each tear fall from her face Will our mom ever be the same? We know that her smiles can light up the day but we don't see that smile today Oh, but we hear each tear fall from her face Her blue skies have turned to gray Oh, we send to her our warmest hugs With rays of the morning sun Then we won't hear a tear fall from her face For we shall erase them one by one Yes, our mom doesn't know we're watching her But we are watching her just the same And if we hear a tear fall from her face We'll just softly whisper her name Author Unknown |
